Gemina by Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufman

4.0

I love action, but it tends to be difficult for many authors to write. You need a good pace, knowledge of the surroundings and the character's limits. Gemina does an awesome job at it.

I liked it far more than Illuminae, where the action was good but also brief. It spends more time having the two MC interacting through chats and developing the plot. But I didn't find it all that interesting until AIDAN fooled Kady.

Thank god, in Gemina the action comes in almost inmediatly and it stays like that until the end. Reading this book is soooo thrilling.

Then AIDAN come in and makes it clear I like this characters better. Unlike Kady and Ezra, I can feel their chemistry.

Just a little thing that bothered me is that all the MC so far are caucasican, the only POC I see is characters that die. Still, great book.
