If There's No Tomorrow by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This was such a happy surprise! I've heard mixed reviews on JLA works from booktube. I even had the opportunity to grab this ARC at Book Con last year and decided it wasn't something I needed. What I loved most about this story was how very real the protagonist felt. I felt her sadness and greif, her guilt and the heaviness she carried after the tragic accident she was involved in. The love story was sweet, but not the main focus - which felt believable. I really related to this character and maybe that's why I loved this story so much. I am now looking to read more from JLA after reading this heartbreaking, yet empowering story of grief and finding the strength to continue on. If I had to find a flaw, I might point to the stroyline with the protagonist's father. Although I feel it could have been developed more so that I would be more invested in their relationship, that lack of depth did not detract from my enjoyment or immersion in this narrative.
