A 4.5 book, it was nice but like all graphic novels was just missing a small edge in the story. I felt as if something was missing that would have made it a 5. It was really funny and hilarious but at the same time informative, the character development was stellar and personally I loved the female empowerment sprinkled in there. The ending was abrupt and kind of disappointed me, maybe that is what was lacking, which if the ending was better this book would have been a five star. Loved the art style, especially the characters hopping or rather prancing around and getting smacked in the head with pebbles. The story was well developed, from red lantern to the brother disciple point. Mei-Wen’s character arc was amazing as well from village girl to the leader of the sister disciple.
