I have avoided this book because the title and series name is ridiculous. For any of you who care, the title actually references the rooster that the FMC owns. It is not a reference to the MMC. I hate it when publishers do that, but I’m thankful I took the risk. This is a surprisingly a sweet friends to lovers/football player/ strong family ties book. It has no 3rd act breakup and the conflict is external. Is it spicy? Yes. Is it hella cozy? Yes.Will this book be for everyone? What book is? Have I found a possible new series to binge? Yes.
