The chemist didn't really mean to blow up a house and land in jail. Daisy is sure that her chemist father's incarceration is just a big mistake, and she knows how to fix it. She turns to her out of school friend Graham Cracker and his older cousin for help. Along the way Daisy will learn what it means to be a true friend and how to see and accept the flawed nature of her family. This is a great story for children who are dealing with parents who have been incarcerated, or who have trouble building relationships.
