I just didn’t like the writing style. It felt like you’re watching a movie where absolutely nothing happens for hours. You’d get bored. The smut wasn’t pleasant to read at all. What do you mean he looks like a viking and pisses off his front porch? No thanks. 
Also we’re past people calling periods “shark attack” or “code red”. Just call it a period. 
Not my book at all.
