This was a solid middle of the line book for me. It took me a really long time to get into it, and honestly, I never got 100% invested. It may be a symptom of listening to it as an audiobook, but it took me a really long time to get all the characters straight (and even then, im not totally sure I was always clear on who was who) it was well written and overall a really interesting story about a time period and place that was completely unfamiliar to me, but felt very viserical by the time I finished reading. It was an interesting plot though, but I do feel like it didn’t cinch together as tightly as I would’ve liked in the end.
