Fantastic book. I liked watching rin try and cope on her own and form or fox relationships and watching her make the same mistakes because of justifying it, while infuriating, was perfect for rin. The flaws of the characters are so nuanced and clear and they inform their actions brilliantly. The politics are crazy complicated and the Hesperian make me want to burn them donen like rin would! Brutal book but well done!!
