Where the Falcon Flies: A 3,400 Kilometre Odyssey From My Doorstep to the Arctic by Adam Shoalts

4.0

I’m a big fan of Adam Shoalts and thoroughly enjoyed this book. His trip along Lake Erie and Lake Ontario was fascinating as he described the modern day canoeing challenges, and I loved his description of hiking through Quebec and Labrador. The bits of history were fascinating. The trip seemed incredibly risky; while it makes for heart-stopping reading he needs to stay safe so we can continue reading about his adventures for years to come.
