The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox
2.0
2.5/5⭐️
This was so disappointing. I didn't feel the chemistry between either Cass or Charlie and their love interests. None of the characters felt very developed. I didn't feel connected to them at all and I didn't know anything about them. The ending was extremely rushed. The conflict between Cass and Charlie, and then the conflict between each of them and their love interests weren't fully fleshed out. It was all resolved in like one page and needed more time to feel realistic. I also didn't get the cozy small town Christmas vibes I was hoping for. It was set mostly in a small town and that was mentioned a few times, but it was lacking the cute small town vibes, such as holiday traditions and found family/everyone knowing everyone kind of thing. This was extremely disappointing to me and was not for me at all.
