I should’ve known better than to count Velle out while I was reading Distorted. I should have known my book friends were right when they said “just wait” after I told them I wasn’t a fan.
I absolutely LOVED the dynamics between the MMF thruple this book focused on. I really, truly didn’t think I could be persuaded to change my opinion on Velle, but it happened. I think I can safely say I am just “team anyone except the Warden” now.
Nyla K. does an AMAZING job of overlapping storylines without redundancy. When I finished Distorted, I thought reading Joyless was going to answer all my unanswered questions. While it answered some.. it mostly just left me with more
