Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life by Anne Lamott

Did not finish book.
The bits of motivational advice in this book were rare, oh so very rare. Most of it came off as pointless rambling. That part about the smallpox blankets threw me off because comparing the struggles of publishing to the vile act of biological warfare on Native Americans was racist and tone-deaf. A lot of American exceptionalism. I couldn't stand reading through this any longer.
