What an incredibly smart collection of essays on disability justice, ableism, and care. Hedva's writing is sharp and alive and irreverent. The book’s exploration of the social constructions of dis/ability and the manifold ways that capitalism undermines our ability to care for ourselves and each other is so compelling (and enraging). So many of the essays pushed me to think more expansively about what care is and what it can be, how ableist the world is and the many ways ableism shows up, and things each of us can do to advance the disability justice movement.
