Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye sets up operations in Cali and forms the new West Coast Avengers with Clint Barton (also aka Hawkeye), best friend America Chavez, newbie and Bishop's boyfriend Fuse, wild card Gwenpool, and former X-Men Kid Omega. Financially backed by reality tv money and anxious to prove themselves, their first mission is no small feat (sorry puns) and involves a giant woman on the rampage!
I mean, I'm probably being generous with the rating because it was a very chaotic intro... but it was a really fun read! I'm a fan of the group and the story was light-hearted and silly, which what I expected from the cover. The group dynamic is promising and I love the art style. Kinda sad that there's only 2 volumes in the series but I'm in it for ride no matter how short.
