Pokémon Adventures (Red and Blue), Vol. 4 by Hidenori Kusaka

4.0

Honestly, I was kind of sceptical when I discovered the story would follow Yellow's adventures instead of Red's... now I can say, that it did not disappoint. Following Amarillo del Bosque Verde (Yellow), is a, not so subtle, way to mix things up; but all the feels of the first three books are untouched. This installment doesn't just give a fresh look at the Pokémon universe, but it also adds new and curious powers, and praises the original characters.

As always: excellent character development, amazing illustrations, great humour, super scary villains, adorable Pokémons... it's got it all.
