I'm really disappointed with this second book! I really loved the first book, the humor the dynamic relation Alexia and Lord Maccon had and the world Gail Carriger had created was so refreshing and great. I never thought she would do so bad with the second book! I'm a bit chocked actually. Almost nothing interesting happened in this book! And one of the things I disliked most in this second book was how the author decided to get Alexia pregnant! I mean..really?! Did you really had to do that! Why couldn't you wait a little longer before tying Alexia up with a baby? It's so annoying and boring:/ and the ending was so so bad! I'm really upset because the first book is really one of my absolute favorite books. I don't think I*m gonna read the third book because I don't wanna read about a desperate pregnant lady with a jerk husband: Good bye Alexia :(
