I bought this book back in 2020 as part of a buy on get one 50% off sale at Barnes and Noble. Well it finally fit the prompt (Debut romance novel) for the boybands readathon for team Nsync and I am so happy I've finally read it because this book was perfect!
I absolutely adored the concept of this story! The banter between the 2 lead characters was so entertaining! I loved the twitter war between the 2 companiesbut what made it for me was their discussions on the Weasel app because they didn't know they were talking to each other until almost the end of the book!
I loved the friendships that were formed, fighting for and defending your family no matter the cost!
The aspect of swim and dive team was just the icing on the cake for me because those were 2 sports I competed in growing up and I loved those scenes in this book! I think the author captured the vibe of those 2 sports perfectly! I especially loved the water polo scene.
The baking scenes and food in general in this book sounded amazing!
And I think the author captured the pressure of high school very well. I struggled in school and personally had a tough time balancing everything accedemically and socially in high school. I loved that the weasel app helped the students create study groups and meet ups unanimously it kind of puts everyone on even playing field at a very competitive school!
If I sat here and told you everything I loved about this book I would just tell you the whole book at this point! I really enjoyed this one and I hope to read more by the author and more from this trope!
