I really like this one! After his NBA dreams are blown with a torn ACL, Eli moves to Florida to coach college basketball as the team’s new assistant coach. When Becca tells her preacher father that she’s not coming home after her final year in college, he cuts her off financially. So Becca, knowing very little about basketball, applies to be a student manager for the school basketball team - only to find out that her best friend’s asshole older brother is the assistant coach, assigned to show her the ropes.
I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first one. I thought it was really cool how it showed a lot of the same scenes from the first book from a different character’s perspective.
