The only thing I didn’t like about this story was its length.
It’s too short.
It’s too fantastic to be short. Seriously. I love these characters. I have a new favorite Ella Goode book! And I am unbelievably happy to say that. I haven’t loved the last couple I’ve read, but this is definitely Ella at her best.
It has a few Shielding Lily vibes, but it’s a different story. It’s just that wholesome high school athlete destined for greatness sees the girl of his dreams and everything changes. And it’s such a fantastic style of story. It’s not the same story, do not mistake me. There are a lot of differences. But if you enjoyed Alexa Riley’s Shielding Lily you will also enjoy this book. I can guarantee it.
I don’t have to go into a synopsis. I don’t have to tell you the amazing parts. You just need to read it. 10/10 would recommend. 5/5 stars. I bought this book the second I finished it on KU. This will definitely be a re-read for me.
