Well, damn (I wanted to use a different word but it's not PG).
Sweet baby Jesus, talk about the mother of all cliffhangers!
I fell in love with these characters during the first two books and was seriously looking forward to seeing Payne and Sunday get together.
But, NOOOOOO! Of course there would be something that had to happen to stuff it all up.
Grrr.
I'm so. Torn.
As frustrating as the ending was (and some other bits along the way), I really did enjoy all the twists and turns the story had to offer.
Although it was short, it definitely packed a punch.
Neeeeeeeed the next book more than my morning coffee.
