The Flash, Vol. 5: History Lessons by Brian Buccellato

3.0

I really enjoy the New 52 version of Barry Allen. This book is fun and for the most part shows us the more human side of The Flash - who has always been one of the more grounded super-powered heroes of the Justice League. The Flash Our of Water story was specially enjoyable pushing the character to creatively using his powers when there is no obvious way to use speed to his favor. Overall it is a good book but I don't feel The Flash character suits supernatural stories (as is the main story arc presented in the book) and it doesn't advance much on the overall Flash mythos/world.
