The First Bad Man by Miranda July

4.0

I think Lena Dunham put it best when she said that Miranda July was perverting norms...

This book was funny and so very weird and made me question where it was going so many times but I ended up loving it. I honestly couldn't tell if Miranda July was taking the piss or it was actually a really intelligent book that had deeper meaning... eventually I just let it all go and just read it. I'm so glad I did instead of trying to analyse what everything meant as I was able to take the book just as it was.

If I recommended this book to people, they might think of me as highly eccentric/odd but I recommend it to anyone who isn't easily offended.
