Listened to this one…great narration! In one horrific night, 12 year-old Josie’s entire family is murdered and her best friend goes missing during their sleepover. Twenty years later, it’s still an unresolved murder, but everyone already knows who did it. But during one brutally cold night 20 years later, Wylie’s accidental overnight houseguest does the unimaginable. This story has 3 main strands. The past murders and events, the present day surprise overnight guest, and the captives’ struggles. The author weaves back and forth between the storylines and timelines creating a very satisfying story.
