Shadow And Stars: Demon Heart Book 3 by Richard Amos is the final book in this MM fantasy paranormal romance. Roman just wants a life with Xavier, but with the world falling apart, they must find a way to save the world first. As all the rules have changed, anything could happen, and chaos reigns. Will they find a way to their happy ending, or will the monarch demons rule a frozen wasteland that was once Earth?
This was a perfect ending to an exciting series filled with twist after twist. This is one of the few books that I could never predict what might happen next and I loved it! It was a combo of excitement, adventure, mystery, humor, and romance. The world-building in the book was off the chart with vivid imagery of unique lands and bizarre creatures. The characters were interesting and constantly evolving. I don't want to spoil things, but there are some very interesting things going on with the characters and differences within themselves.
I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars. It is certainly one heck of a crazy ride. This is plenty of chemistry and desire between Roman and Xavier and a delightful happy ending (wink, wink). If you enjoy MM fantasy romances with plenty of action, adventure, twists, suspense, demons, and witches, then Demon Heart is a must-read.
