The Tyrannosaur Chronicles by David Hone

informative inspiring slow-paced

5.0

n my 20s, I discovered that I’m a total dinosaur nerd. This is an interest that I have been happily exploring for the last few years.

I really enjoyed the The Future of Dinosaurs: What We Don't Know, What We Can, and What We'll Never Know in February, and this book was just as good. Hone does a great job balancing science with accessibility, making what could be a very dense book entertaining and educational. I really appreciated learning more about these ancient carnivores – about their anatomy, ecology, and behaviour – and how they came to be the dominant terrestrial predators of the Mesozoic and one biology’s most iconic creatures.
