One with You
by Sylvia Day
Okay, so this book really made me conflicted. On one hand, I absolutely adored it. I am so happy for Gideon and Eva and all the progress they've made as a couple, as well as the progress they've made individually emotionally.
That being said, there is still SO much I want to know and I really feel like this book did allow for the closure we were all expecting. What happens with Tatiana and Cary and their baby? Do Cary and Trey get back together? How is Cary going to be as a parent? Especially now that he will be living with Victor?
Those are all the questions I have for only 1 character! I felt like the last 150 pages or so were really rushed. That entire story line would've been so much better suited had they added like another 100 pages, or introduced it sooner. I don't know. I still have so many questions for THAT part too. I was just very unsatisfied with that portion of the story and wished it had been developed more.

All in all, I liked the book. I love Gideon and Eva and I will miss them a lot. I just wish Sylvia had added some more closure to the various story lines. I still love the series. <3

Spoiler
When we first found out something fishy with Monica's past, all the way up to her being shot was so rushed that my head spun.Spoiler
Did Victor know about Monica's past life? Where is her sister now? What is she like? Why didn't Eva get pissed off that Gideon hid her mother's death from her?Same with

the line about Christopher thinking Gideon wanted to kill him. I mean it makes sense that Dr. Lucas would say such a thing, but it was just such a small line in the book that it could've been missed. The reasons behind Christopher and Gideon's hard relationship have bothered me since the beginning and we finally have an answer and its so minute that it didn't offer anything of substance.Spoiler
Honestly one of the biggest things that bothered me was the fact that we never find out if Gideon and Eva have a child. Throughout the whole series they make mention of children in the future, and they had both come to terms with the fact that they wanted them in the future. Then Eva buys Gideon the puppy and it's almost like a trial run of a child and they do so well. And then? Nothing. I wasn't expecting Eva to be pregnant in this book, but I don't know. Something in the epilogue about how they have kids would give me closure on the subject. All in all, I liked the book. I love Gideon and Eva and I will miss them a lot.
