After 2 of Angie Thomas' books, I'm definitely a fan! Someone asked me recently if I liked this one more/less than The Hate U Give and my initial reaction was less, but I think the ending of this book redeemed it and now I may even like it more than The Hate U Give... The concept is super unique and I was engaged til the very end. I found Bri to be a bit frustrating and short-sighted/immature at times, but I think it's definitely an accurate representation of how any 16-year-old might handle things so I can't be mad. Overall I enjoyed the book and LOVED Bahni Turpin's narration as usual! (she makes the rapping not cheesy and awkward like most audiobook narrators would)
