This was a fun listen, but didn’t wow me. It was probably my second favorite book in the series, but none of the books lived up to the hopes I had for this series after book one.
I did really like the aspects of Norse mythology in this series. It was a nice change from previously only mainly having read romance novels centered around the Greek gods.
Even through the finale, this series remained fairly light on the spice and was much tamer than what I would have expected from a RH book. Like, I was shocked there was never a scene with all four gods and Ari. Although, the part where Hod told Loki he didn’t have to leave definitely peaked my…umm…interest
