I really wanted to like this book! I thought the cover was adorable and I grew up wanting to be a park ranger so I was excited for the prospect of reading romance in nature. This book was just a few good parts interspersed with much less enjoyable content/plot. The plot was just weird and pretending anxiety is an alcoholic problem instead…
Darcy was the best part of this book. She was a fun character, adorably invested in her wildlife studies. Her dialogue and bluntness was great but I wish the rest of the book centered around Darcy’s interests!
