This book is another amazing romance by Emily Antoinette. This book leans more towards angsty than cozy, but with lovable characters that care for one another, even when they are in conflict. I loved the dynamic between the main throuple, each character had a distinct personality that they kept throughout the story, while still leaving room for character development. As always, the world building is interesting while not being overwhelming, and it influences the characters in a way that makes sense.
Overall, an enjoyable book

with a happy ending and good spice
