The Casanova by T.L. Swan
4.0

Nothing like a quick listen to remind yourself that billionaire CEOs are just like us. They deal with rejection, online dating, and chasing down recluse artists after spending millions of dollars buying their paintings.

I’ve never felt so *seen* in a book before.

FMC is kind of obnoxious, but that’s a bit in line with the series. MMC at least doesn’t have the “everyone always leaves me” nonsense, but has the insufferable “it’s got to be magic and an orchestra has to start playing” mindset when he meets “the one”.

Language got *real* repetitive in the series. Hair can be styled in other ways behind “perfectly just-fucked”, suits can be other colors than “dark navy with a crisp white button down” and not all erect penises live in the waistband of boxer shorts.

Will the next book be as grating? Hopefully not, but we shall see.

PS it’s not about pilots, btw.
