This was a wild ride - it felt like it started out SO SLOW and I was honestly losing interest in it. It's a long book and it takes a while for things to get going but once they do...HOOOBOY. There were some parts I'd figured out or guessed, but some I didn't see coming. It was clever, crafty, cunning, and conniving. Add to the fact it takes place in my favorite city, it made it all the more intense since I could actually envision the setting.

I tried to think if there was anything that I could have easily skipped over, that wouldn't impact the story and shorten it up...but really, it all fits nicely when it's all said and done. I'll definitely check out some of Ellis' other books.
