Made me want to crawl in a ball and cry.

Before I start off with a review, I just want to put a warning out there that if you’re in a tough place and or sensitive to dark descriptions of mental health issues and are not in a good mental state. Please be cautious when reading this book as it is a heavy book that isn’t for everyone.

I started off this book thinking that it was gonna end with a happy ending but was devastatingly wrong. The more I read, the more I felt stuck with it. In a way that I didn’t want to put the book down. I was completely hooked on the book and the characters so when it ended the way that it did, I felt completely empty and didn’t know what to do with life anymore. It was truely amazing reading about Violet and Finch coming together and their friendship but also how Violet started moving on from her sisters accident. I had such high hopes that they would work things out together and then live happily ever after but I also love how it ended because it felt like that it was more realistic with the ending like that. It really showed how trauma and mental illness affects different people and that sometimes it ends well, but sometimes it doesn’t.
Overall, will defiantly re read this book in the future and cry.
