I absolutely devoured the writing in this book! Although it covers deep subject matter, it’s still an easy, fast paced page turner.
It’s a multi-POV book with fantastic character development as all the characters are flawed but you can’t help but be invested in their journeys. I felt for ALL the characters in the book and I enjoyed the backstories in understanding them.
This book covers themes of Islamophobia / racism, abuse, alcoholism and parental death but this is explored cleverly.
