Trans Allyship Workbook: Building Skills to Support Trans People In Our Lives by Davey Shlasko

4.0

I’m a therapist who specializes in lgbtq+ and I read this book to screen if I would recommend it (or not) to someone as a resource.

Answer: I definitely would. This is an impressive introduction for anyone who wants to be a supportive trans ally. I appreciated how the author didn’t just present suggestions, but also explained things in a way that’s both validating for trans people and accessible for people who are entirely new to the subject.

Big thumbs up on this one. I’d recommend this to family, friends, coworkers, anybody who intends to work on their allyship.
