Such a pleasantly surprising read! Loved reading about the Canada-Estonian experience part the most. The way the main character Viive saw herself and her Estonian rootd as 'Scandinavian' was interesting... Not something most native Estonians would do in my experience. The migraine experience was also super interesting to read about and as someone who suffers from headaches very often (less nowadays but way more during high school for example) I found solace in it being treated like the huge hindrance that they are. The book did, funnily enough, give me a headache every time I read it. Maybe from the tension? Don't know. But it was super well written and the translation into Estonian was also lovely to read - drew me in and I finished the book in only 2 days.
