This book has a great cover and I'm happy to report that the story contained inside matches or even surpasses the outside. The story is well told and even though there are technical elements of football as well as technical aspects of Lucy's interest explained neither bogs down the story. It's also funny as all get out. Now on to my loves.
Matty and Luce *dreamy sigh* I really loved this couple and their journey. I also loved the way the theme of fear was dealt with in this book. Another thing I loved is there's a great cast of secondary characters whose stories I'm so looking forward to reading especially Hammer's.
One secondary character I generally didn't care for was Ace. I really didn't like his attitude or his general treatment of others and there was more than one occasion where I wanted to punch him but by the end of the book I felt for him and now I'm also looking to his story.
Jock Blocked is a great addition to the series and as stated before I really can't wait for more.
