Dominic's a total sweetheart from the start. As a firstborn daughter, I really felt the challenges Ellie faced. We eldest girls don’t ask for help because being vulnerable feels like weakness. But Dom? He saw right through her. These two were honestly a match made in heaven. He could read her like a book. Perks of being childhood friends, right?
And of course, Michelle just had to throw in the grey sweatpants moment 🥵. The spice? Chef’s kiss. I didn’t expect the reveal of the bad guy, but something in me knew. As someone with CPTSD, I related so deeply to Dominic. Their chemistry was beautifully written, and yes—Dominic is definitely book husband material.
The ending? Way too beautiful. I shed some happy tears. Honestly, this book left me full of feelings in the best way.
Make sure to check TW/CW before diving in. This is my honest opinion for the ARC I received. Huge thanks to Michelle and Luna Literary for the opportunity!
