I really wanted to like this book, because I loved Strange Weather in Tokyo but it just didn't grab me. I didn't like the way the story just jumped hours or days or sometimes months by the next sentence, it made it hard to follow. It seemed like the book couldn't decide if it was primary plot was Hitomi and Takeo's love story or Mr Nakanos shop adventures.

I did like the characters, Mr Nakanos and Masayo were light and fun, Hitomi too, Takeo was annoying and quite horrible at times but it seemed like he didn't know he was doing it.

The book does end quite well, funnily enough I part I enjoyed the most was when they shop closed down.

Also definitely not enough trains Kiara...
