There’s a plot moment in The Rachel Incident where everything collides and you can‘t help back to think ‘ah, here is a writer who knows what they are doing’. Continuing the demonstrate that Irish writers are leading the way for fiction at the moment, The Rachel Incident is wonderfully funny, reflective and expansive as Rachel navigates her twenties. A page turner that has a language that is wonderfully accessible whilst not holding back on finding beauty in dialogue and plot. A great read.
