The half-star down was just because there wasn't enough Meg in this book, nor enough Simon. This series has a great secondary cast, and I adore them, but this book felt a bit scattered, because Meg and Simon seemed to make up only about 40% of it.
That said, the story was spectacular, the series is spectacular, and if you haven't been reading it, you should be.
