hey quick question? what the fuck was that
this started out as a very sweet story, but after 25% in it quickly derailed
The writing style was so so, and i skimmed over most of the smut.
the one thing I couldn’t understand. Is when Ayden (MMC) says “my father put me in a hospital for a week” (IN THE EPILOGUE” Laney (FMC) is trying to plead to him to stay, even though his father PUT HIM IM THE HOSPITAL FOR A WEEK!!!
also the characters? no personality at all.
if you are going to pick a serious topic to base the main conflict of your novel around, you should make sure to give value to that serious topic!!!
having a main character who is running away from a violent abusive father and then treating it like he abandoned his girlfriend is absolutely INSANE
This book did not know what it wanted to be and it was very frustrating how the main male characters trauma was not handled well or like at all.
