Review:
Queen of Quarantine is the fourth book in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series and the concluding installment. This story starts off on a high level of trying to reclaim Tatum from the clutches of the Hades lab. At the beginning of this story, the Night Keepers have 4 objectives: reclaim Tatum, free Kyan from his mafia family, bring down the elite club, and destroy Troy Memphis. But in this book, nothing goes perfectly to plan.
It was nice to see the boys venture out if Everlake Prep and suddenly not be the rulers of their own kingdom. I felt like this story finally let us see the level of devotion the Night Keepers have for each other- regardless of the odds, they stay together and fight for their family. And Tatum is no exception, she fights just as hard for them.
For me, Niall stole the show in terms of the comedic element and I am SO excited for his spin off novel, The Death Club!
I felt like I did suffer from adrenaline fatigue during this story. Because the characters have to accomplish so much, you rarely ever come down from the “high” of the climax moment so that was tough for me.
I give the authors a lot of credit for throwing some manor wrenches into Saint’s plans and not letting his plans pan out anywhere close to how he planned.
Overall, this was a fantastic conclusion to the series!
