I was really disappointed with this book. I LOVED the first half, I even thought it was going to end with the two of them opening their own bakery together.

That couldn’t have been further from what actually happened.

Somewhere towards the second half, the whole essence of the story seemed to get lost in favour of a dystopian torture facility that had no place in this book.

If it had continued down the first plot line it would have been an easy 5 stars for Carrie Hope Fletcher - and it’s a shame because I do love her.

If you came here looking for a cute, witchy romance, look further.
