Love That Journey for Me: The Queer Revolution of Schitt's Creek by Emily Garside

informative lighthearted reflective fast-paced

5.0

This is a long-form essay about queer iconography and presence in the show Schitt's Creek. If you, like me, absolutely adore that show, this is a fantastic read. I really appreciate the author's perspectives and callouts of specific moments from the show. My favorite is the idea that the town of Schitt's Creek is an ideal bubble where acceptance is the baseline while not being a utopia.
