alysamorley 's review for:
Of Triton
by Anna Banks
This is along the same lines as the first one for me. This is a quick, easy read that's fun. This would be a great series to help get people out of a reading slump.
What I liked:
1. This book picked up where the last one left off. This was an easy transition for me to make, and I was not confused about what was happening.
2. This has more mermaid stuff in it than the first book. It takes place more underwater than on land, which I like. I continually want to see more of mermaid life.
3. More action and plot development in this one. This book has more conflict, political issues, and family drama.
What I didn't like:
1. Galen's tendency to be overprotective and possessive at times. It annoyed me, even though I could understand that his strong feelings for Emma cause him to overreact.
2. Although this book was fast paced, I do feel like it could have been longer. A LOT of stuff happened in this book, all crammed into a pretty short book.
