Freed from Gravity is already going to be one of the best books of 2025! After the jaw-dropping cliffhanger that Bound by Gravity ended on, I was so excited for Freed, and it did not disappoint! Here are three things I loved the most about FFG:

1) Character Development - Jenny Hickman is a master at showing, not telling, true growth in her characters. From inner monologues to interactions with other characters, thoughts turn into true action that make you learn to love characters you may have disliked before, fall deeper for those you were already enamored with, and just generally enjoy the story more.

2) Banter - The Queen of banter returns! This book has well-timed and swoon-worthy scenes that give you a perfect break from the drama when you need it and reinforce the good moments when all looks bleak.

3) Happily Ever After - This duology in particular had some pretty rough betrayals that made me gasp out loud. Without giving anything away, I loved how it ended. I feel like I just ran a a marathon and am not ready to let these characters go.

Do yourself a favor and read this one stat. You won’t be disappointed!
