This is exactly what I expected.. NEEDED from a Stephen King fantasy when I first picked up this series.
King creates a gritty, interesting and weird world that drew me in page after page.
AMAZING characters, both simple and complicated. Found friends and adventure smashed together with a Stephen King hammer.
The final 3rd of this book REALLY picks up with a huge avalanche of pace, plot and action and I could NOT put it down. Easily the best of the series I've read so far, and they continue to get better with each book I read.
