A Sign of Affection, Volume 5 by suu Morishita
- Plot- or character-driven? Character
- Loveable characters? It's complicated

Friendship
First Love

I think this is the first volume in this series that I’ve actually enjoyed! I feel like some of the issues I had with previous volumes in the series were cleared up, and we actually learnt more about the characters and their backstory. I think I learnt more about Itsuomi in the first chapter of Vol. 5 than I have in the last four volumes. I loved seeing Yuki in her new job.
Overall, we’re starting to see more of the elements I enjoy and less of the overprotective-insta-love that filled the previous volumes. Although, I still don’t like Itsuomi, and my previous observations on him still stand. What Yuki sees in him is completely beyond me.
Actually excited to continue.
