Take the time to adapt to the peculiar blend of poetry and prose and you won't regret it. I was doubtful at first, feeling the writing style off-putting, but was quickly shut down when I was drawn so fully into the characters and their beauty. For such a short book it felt so well considered and foreshadowed I'd have sworn it was longer. The use of imagery and metaphor needed my full attention to be properly appreciated, allowing/forcing me to slow down and feel performative in the reading.

Executed with the deft and masterful hands of artists worth falling for.
